The Department of Psychology has lecturers who are specialized in clinical, developmental, social and health psychology. The undergraduate program covers a wide range of subjects so that students will be competent in all areas of psychology and knowledgeable about different approaches in the field. In this way, students are expected to improve their skills in independent thought, research, psycho-social and academic criticism/analysis as well as in academic writing; they will participate in lectures, student projects and speakers from national and international universities.

The language of instruction is English (at least 30%) as well as Turkish. As students are able to follow the international developments in psychology in both languages they have the opportunity to advance their careers at home and abroad.
