Group Basic Qualifications Learning Outcomes
KNOWLEDGE Theoretical / Conceptual 1- Possess advanced level theoretical and practical knowledge supported by textbooks with updated information, practice equipments and other resources LO1- Follow the historical development process of Turkish literature through texts.
LO3- Have knowledge about the nature of literature which shapes social changes.
SKILLS Cognitive / Practical 2- Use of advanced theoretical and practical knowledge within the field. LO2- Define the stylistic features of texts of different periods.
LO4- Define the differences, similarities and common features between literary genres.
3- Interpret and evaluate data, define and analyze problems, develop solutions based on research and proofs by using acquired advanced knowledge and skills within the field. LO5- Gain the ability to learn about the theories of literature and methods of criticism and make text analysis.
LO9 -Interpret Turkish language grammaticals in the light of language theories.
COMPETENCES Field Specific Competence 4- Act in accordance with social, scientific, cultural and ethic values on the stages of gathering, implementation and release of the results of data related to the field. LO7 - Define the basic concepts used in accepted scientific studies related to Turkish language and literature and define the basic issues in the field.

5- Possess sufficient consciousness about the issues of universality of social rights, social justice, quality, cultural values and also, environmental protection, worker's health and security. LO6- Gain the capacity to understand and explain literature as an art and to produce literary texts.
LO14 - Have awareness and sensitivity towards historical and cultural values.
Competence to Work Independently and Take Responsibility 6- Conduct studies at an advanced level in the field independently. LO8 - Define how new research topics are identified in light of language and literary theories.
7- Take responsibility both as a team member and individually in order to solve unexpected complex problems faced within the implementations in the field. LO13- Take responsibilty both as a team member or individually in a research or projects related to Turkish language & literature; conduct these research and projects.

Learning Competence 9- Evaluate the knowledge and skills acquired at an advanced level in the field with a critical approach. LO5- Gain the ability to learn about the theories of literature and methods of criticism and make text analysis.

Communication and Social Competence 12- Inform people and institutions, transfer ideas and solution proposals to problems in written and orally on issues in the field. LO10- Introduce and teach Turkish on the international scene; participate in discussions related to language.

13- Share the ideas and solution proposals to problems on issues in the field with professionals and non-professionals by the support of qualitative and quantitative data. LO6- Gain the capacity to understand and explain literature as an art and to produce literary texts.
14- Organize and implement project and activities for social environment with a sense of social responsibility. LO13- Take responsibilty both as a team member or individually in a research or projects related to Turkish language & literature; conduct these research and projects.
15- Monitor the developments in the field and communicate with peers by using a foreign language at least at a level of European Language Portfolio B1 General Level. LO11 - Monitor newly developments on language and literature using a foreign language and discuss it with colleagues.
16- Use informatics and communication technologies with at least a minimum level of European Computer Driving License Advanced Level software knowledge. LO12- Have knowledge about the business opportunities related to language and literature and have capability of working in areas outside the education sector.
