The programs aims to train its graduates to have positions as müftü, vaiz, or religious functionaries under the Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığı (Presidency of Religious Affair) as well as, after completing pedagogical formation education, to work as high school teacher offering the course Din Kültürü ve Ahlak Bilgisi at regular high schools and vocational courses at İmam Hatip High Schools under the National Education Ministry. Another objective of the program is contribute to the scientific accumulation of humanity through original research, and for this end, to train skilled researchers and scientists.
